During my exchange program in Florence, Italy, I had the opportunity to enroll in a jewelry-making class, a subject I'm greatly interested in. For one of my first assignments, I was given the task to make pieces out of a silver plate through the process of annealing, sawing, piercing, filing, soldering, polishing, and buffing.
